Judging by the good turn out for the Challenge Cup last Saturday Match Play has a place at Holly Kai.
I counted more than 20 in the Club, inc., reporters and other interested parties.

Wilbur Wood and I have been talking about canvassing support for a Wimbledon style seeded draw (Wilbur will take on this task).
Once the draw was published players would have ample time to arrange their first match. It being the responsibility of the FIRST named player to contact his/her opponent.
Wilbur has the skill to produce a results board on which progress is entered. We will seek permission from the management about this.

If it is agreeable, there would be an Entry Fee of e.g., L$200, to pay for a trophy and cash prizes for the winner and the runner-up.

I seem to have more free time than WW, so, if you like the idea, give me an IM and we can get things moving.

Thanks for the positive feed back on the Challenge Cup. It was very encouraging.

Bridget N.

I was unfortunately away this weekend, so could not see what happened.

So, out of curiosity, what *did* happen? Nothin's been published here or at weblog... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
