so my wife and me decide to play a round of golf...
this is how that goes for us:

we go to the course, buy our vouchers, and load our huds.
since for whatever reason my wife can't get her hud to rez a ball on shore #1 we decide to play ocean.
on the first three holes of the ocean course my wife's hud does not want to work properly, as in the center "thing" doesnt turn, it jumps... randomly. does wonders to the accuracy of your shots.

this happens every time.

add the additional random annoyances, like a ball that gets hit with a 3 wood at 105%, flies about 90 halfmeters, then rolls back for 140 halfmeters!

whats with all that?

maybe related question: is the FLOG system adapted to havoc4?

1. Concerning your wife's HUD misbehaving "every time". Has she taken off prim hair? Has she removed AO and all attachments? Here is an article that might help:

2. Concerning the rollback: the following local rule has been in effect since July 2008:

3. The flog system was written before havoc4. The designer has left SL. We have done workarounds to address an issue about balls having odd bounces. ZATZAi Asturias did a great job fixing an issue with the greens that was havoc related.

yep, we both "de-prim" seriously before playing, which helped a lot with lag problems, especially on ocean 1-3, shore 1-2, and shore and ocean 9, but the hud thing was fixed by now too, just by (repeatedly) getting and trying new huds. now she has one that works.

and i found that rollback rule a bit after i initially posted here.

still, thanks for your advice (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
